<\/span>Ich hatte durchaus schon \u00f6fter \u00fcber Prototypen<\/a> und nagelneue Serien-Modelle von Startups berichtet, die auf der Messe in Frankfurt ihre ersten Gehversuche gemacht haben. <\/p>\n

Dieses Jahr habe ich mich mit den jungen Gr\u00fcndern des Startups Complia<\/a> aus England unterhalten. Das Team stammt von der Universit\u00e4t Bristol und hat ein einen 3D-Controller entwickelt (das Foto ist leider total Unscharf geworden).<\/p>\n

Haptisch ist er ja schon...<\/p><\/div>\n

Konzipiert ist der ZOA als 3D Modulations-Wheel. Der erste Eindruck l\u00e4sst an einen Trackball denken, aber die Wahrheit ist relativ weit entfernt. Es k\u00f6nnen 3D Modwheel-Informationen erzeugt werden, die per USB als MIDI-Signal (kein Treiber notwendig) oder via CV an den Sequencer\/Synthesizer \u00fcbermittelt werden. Gerade mit VST3 oder auch MIDI 2.0 scheinen sich da neue M\u00f6glichkeiten zu ergeben. Leider wussten die Entwickler am Stand (scheinbar) noch nichts von MIDI 2.0.<\/p>\n

Es ist wirklich eine sehr haptische und unorthodoxe Steuerm\u00f6glichkeit, ob sich das durchsetzen wird? Ich zweifle...<\/p>\n

Man sucht noch Investoren und hofft, 2020 mit dem guten St\u00fcck f\u00fcr etwas \u00fcber 200 Euro in den \u00fcblichen Gesch\u00e4ften zu stehen.<\/p>\n
